Indore: Group meditation rejuvenates body and mind, say practitioners

Indore: Many professionals have included meditation in their daily routine to overcome stress and achieve peace. Though meditation is a solo activity, it is being taken up by people in groups. About 200 participants from Indore joined one such group meditation organised by Art of Living for three days in Saket Nagar that concluded on Monday. Meditation instructor Manoj Rao said most people know the importance of meditation.

But with smart phones, people rarely take the much-needed break. Therefore, Rao organised group meditation. Instructor Bhanu Naarsimhan gave meditation tips to the group through webcast. Sharing their experiences with Free Press, participants talked about importance of group meditation.
